Well, I did another impulse buy yesterday, and invested in a proper camera.  Its about time.  I finally realized that I spend ALOT of time taking photos with my camera phone, I enjoy it, and I take alot of time to transfer them, download them, ect... yet the quality is so bad as to basically render them useless.   SO...I quickly emailed Sooooondra to ask her what she has, then I googled to see what Howard [Stern] was using, then called Wendy.  Soooondra just got the Canon 7D, Howard I guess is using the Nikon 7000, and Wendy recommended the Canon G12, as its size is small enough that it won't encumber me, and I'll be more likely to have it with me.  So after the camera, the memory stick and the extra battery I walked out of there -$780.    They threw in the camera bag, and a tripod.  Yay AMEX.   Rented a bike yesterday to get my errands done.  Nothing like having errands to run in a new town, merging into the scene trying to be a local.
