Tuesday, May 3, 2011: *EVENING*
Dinner at Atchafalaya up near Magazine Street. Our cousins were covering the wine tonight, and the reds were great. I believe the whites were also swell, but I did not partake. I had the flounder stuffed with crawfish. Delicious. There was a bourbon creamed corn floating about as well. The water and wine flowed...I was sandwiched in between the 2 sickies. Hope the power of my energy combats the cold virus coming from two directions. Desert was a red velvet cake - to die for, and mango and cream cheese ice cream...yum, and a chocolate item...moussy. A lovely evening. I high tailed it out of there on my rented bike, as I want to get in one more solid night of sleep before all hell breaks lose tomorrow with the arrival of Betty and Bill, Julia etc... burping up flounder...and wine....ugh
