Well, the sickness caught me. Felt it last night in the midst of knocking back 4 glasses of great California Merlot, I was overwhelmingly hot, everyone else cool. This morning I awoke feeling cold. Sore scratchy throat, oh dear... just holing up in this fabulous apt. on Bourbon. I would like to hide here for another month, and just step out for the occasional provisions from the corner store, or go around the corner to the Community Coffee Shop for a latte. It is possible on Bourbon Street to simply make a few right or left turns, and be completely shaded from the feeling of being a tourist. I feel as if I am on an incognito assignment.
