Saturday, May 7, 2011: Evening 1155pm - back at the Bourbon St. place

"Waltzing Matilda" was the closing song tonight in Buffa's back room.  We stumbled along with no solid plans for dinner tonight...stopping by the Chateau to say hello.  Paul yelled at us about the door code, handing out post its, and making it clear NO AFTER HOURS phone calls would be tolerated.  The Louisiana Bistro on Dauphine refused to seat us saying the chef would freak out because it was so late, so we jumped in a cab, and headed for Port O' call - however they had a 2 hour wait, so Buffa's it was.

Cool little ensemble playing.  I ordered a cheeseburger, and some cheese fries + jalapenos, a small side of chili, an Abita, and a club soda.  What I got was a jalapeno cheeseburger, fries plain, and a large chili.  No Abita, and no club soda.  But, with the music playing, and the cool ambience all was forgiven.
