Re-entry back to L.A. from LA. Leaving Fantasy Land was not fun. But my liver and body in general are probably greatly relieved, although my mind is not. Back to the real world, back to the hustle, back to driving on the freeway. L.A. is feeling very cold [low 60's] compared to the warm humidity the last few days in New Orleans. I was really bummed to be driving my car, instead of being jostled about with a bunch of festers on the city bus, staring at all the different hats people chose to wear. There are no jazz fest hats in L.A., nor chairs, nor all the other accoutrement that accompanies festers festing. And this is the last year I am lugging a 48 lb. suitcase, plus 2 carry on bags...what the hell is in this thing....Ridiculous. The whole trip, and mind you I was there 10 days, went by in a nanosecond. I remember going to fest on Thursday, and feeling totally lazy, and the next thing I remember is the last night.
The guy sitting on the plane next to me was reading the 'Rob Lowe' book. He had taken the cover off [embarrassed, no doubt] but you could still see the title on the spine of the book.

Anyhoo, back at home now, paying bills, mailing unemployment forms, getting ready to join the show "Wilfred" for their last few weeks. Dreading swapping my drink for my walkie, but got to put Nawlins to bed for another year! Check back for more photo postings when I have a chance to download & transfer
